Darjeeling First Flush Tea Grown in the foothills of the sprawling Himalayas, Darjeeling first flush teas are first crop of the season, harvested from the March to May. First flush is famous for it light bodied liquor and exceptional aromatic qualities. The tea is cultivated and harvested at altitudes ranging from 3500-7000 ft. The leaves appear greenish with a few tips and are minimally oxidized. On brewing, the tea liquor has a bright yellow appearance with full transparency. The tea is famous for its ‘lively bite’ and abundance of flavor.
